Dress Code:

Young Ladies are expected to wear a traditional dress, or skirt and top, modest in appearance and length. (A jacket or light sweater should be worn if the top or dress has thin straps, or shoulders are bare. No visible cleaveage allowed!) Please wear shoes that have enclosed backs or back straps for safety when dancing. Enclosed toes are recommended. (No sneakers, sandals, or open-heeled shoes, please). For "formal events young ladies may dress as dressy as they wish, in keeping with the dress code.

Young Men are expected to wear a button down shirt tucked into their slacks for every event (khakis or corduroys are acceptable). Ties must be worn for the "formal" nights. Jackets or suits are optional, but appreciated. No tee shirts allowed for any events. Please wear dress shoes suitable for dancing to every event. (No sneakers, sandals, or open heeled shoes.)

Weekend Session 2009-2010: The "Getting to Know You," "Jingle Bell Blast," "Winter Wonderland Waltz," and "High Country Cotillion Spring Ball" are "formal events." Students will dress the way they think they will be in fifteen years for the "Mountain Masquerade" on October 24th. Square dance attire (denim --jeans allowed--and plaid or checked shirts) is requested for the "Harvest Hoedown" on November 14th. Students may wear"eighties style clothes" for the "Crazy Eighties Night" on March 6th.
